Meet Our Opelika Dental Team

It Takes a Village to Raise a Smile

Great dentistry takes more than great dentists—it takes a dedicated team that supports you all the way. At TigerTown Family Dentistry, our staff is eager to make every appointment smooth and welcoming. Even if it’s been a while since your last visit, you can expect smiling faces and understanding from a team that truly wants you to feel at home.

Ashley Schedule Coordinator

Ashley has been with us for over a decade and in dentistry for more than 20 years. She likes interacting with all of our patients and making sure they have the best visit possible every single time! Ashley and her husband of 20+ years have three beautiful children, two daughters and a son. When she isn’t at the office, she likes to be outdoors with her family, whether they are hunting, fishing, trail riding, or taking care of their farm.

Presley Patient Coordinator

Presley is thrilled to have been with us for her entire dental career, and she loves working with a “great group of girls” who do everything they can to provide quality care for our patients. An Opelika native, she is married with one son and likes to read and travel in her spare time. And yes, she is named after Elvis Presley!

Rebekah Patient Coordinator

Rebekah says it’s easy to choose the best part of her job: the people, referring to both our patients and her fellow team members. Coming to us from Augusta, GA, she has a beautiful family with a little boy named Cohen, who is the light of her world.

Kim Patient Coordinator

Kim has been with us for over a decade and brings 25+ years of experience to our team. She began her career as a chairside assistant in an orthodontic practice. After taking a couple of breaks from working to raise her children, she eventually found her home here at TigerTown Family Dentistry. Her children, Wes and Blair, now have their own careers and have given her three wonderful grandchildren. Fun fact: Kim is an identical twin!

Christy Insurance Coordinator

Christy has been working in the dental field for 25 years. She began her dental career in Mississippi as a dental assistant and has worked in various dental positions throughout her dental career, giving her a unique perspective on all aspects of care. She enjoys helping our patients understand their insurance benefits so they can get the most out of their coverage. When she isn’t at the office, Christy enjoys gardening, hunting, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Katherine Comprehensive Office Administrator & Dental Hygienist

Kat has been a mainstay at our practice for more than a decade. She likes how her position gives her a chance to provide patient care and also work as an administrator, letting her be on both sides of the practice. She started as a dental assistant in high school and college while earning a Bachelor of Science in computer science. After working in that field for 6 years and meeting her husband, she went back to school for her dental hygiene degree at Columbus Technical College. They went on to have two children, Alex and Emily, and their family is completed by their border collie, Charlie.

Ashley Dental Hygienist

Ashley says that her favorite part of her job is watching a patient who has dental anxiety become more comfortable each time they come to our office. Eventually, appointments aren’t a big deal anymore! She graduated from the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program and is married with four children, two dogs, and two horses. So, in her off time, you’ll usually find her riding, going to concerts, or taking trips to the beach.

Scarlett Dental Hygienist

Since completing the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program, Scarlett has gained over two decades of dental experience. She says nothing feels better than seeing a patient become more comfortable and healthier as the years go by thanks to her care. Married with two stepchildren and three grandchildren, she likes to stay active by playing golf, swimming, and doing Pilates. She also enjoys going to drag races and Auburn football games!

Holly Dental Hygienist

A graduate of Columbus Technical College, Holly says that there is nothing as satisfying as making something clean that was once dirty. Helping a patient feel better about themselves makes it even better! She and her husband have two daughters, and despite all of her years in the dental field, Holly says she still has a tremendous sweet tooth! She could have a little treat after every single meal.

Sydney Dental Hygienist/Assistant

Sydney loves building genuine relationships with her patients. Getting to know them, hearing about their lives and families, and creating a comfortable, welcoming experience is one of the most rewarding parts of her job. She was trained through the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program and is married with two children. When she’s not at work, you can usually find her spending a lot of time at her family-owned business, Limitbreakers, where her kids think the gym is more their home than their actual home! She’s also a coffee lover in the mornings, a wine enthusiast in the evenings, and an occasional reader in between.

Jennifer Dental Hygienist/Assistant

Jennifer has been in the dental field for over 20 years, and she says the most rewarding part of her job is patient education. Nothing makes her happier than when someone comes back, having learned good hygiene techniques, and that makes their cleaning much faster and easier! A graduate of the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program, she has been married to the love of her life for over 30 years. They have four wonderful children as well as two fantastic grandchildren.

Haley Dental Hygienist

Haley says she gets to be surrounded by supportive women every day, and it’s extremely gratifying and empowering. She completed her training at the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program. She and her husband have one son (who already loves to brush and floss his teeth!), as well as two dogs, Maverick and Willow. Eager to stay active, she likes to spend her free time riding side-by-sides and dirt bikes or attending Pilates/barre classes.

Ensleigh Dental Assistant

Ensleigh says that our team motivates her to go above and beyond for our patients, giving them big smiles both in and out of the treatment chair. She LOVES to travel, go to concerts, and hike at every opportunity. She also spends plenty of time with her huge family, which includes three full siblings, two God siblings, and four dogs between everyone!

Samantha Dental Assistant

Samantha has been with us since the very beginning of her dental career. She says there is no feeling better in the world than helping a patient achieve their dream smile that lets them feel completely confident. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she and her fiancé have three beautiful children, so much of her free time is spent at their many school sports and events. When she can, she also enjoys working out, going to concerts, and traveling.

Alexius Dental Assistant

We’re so happy that Alexius began her dental career with us! She says that the best thing about her job is the environment. As a dental assistant studying to become a hygienist, she feels fortunate to work with strong, knowledgeable women who mentor her and support her professional growth. Outside of dentistry (and school), her favorite things to do include shopping, finding new coffee shops, and trying new restaurants.

Codee Dental Assistant

Codee joined us in late 2025, and she loves getting to build connections with our patients while being part of an amazing team. She began her decade-long career in periodontics but has been in general dentistry since 2014. Married with two sons, she and the family live on a 60-acre farm with over a dozen horses! She loves riding them even though she’s actually allergic.
